Country Of Resilient People

The Philippines is known as a resilient people. Filipinos are very well known for their hospitality, cheerfulness, and especially their resilience in times of crisis because we are strong enough to face all problems and calamities.

The Philippines is highly vulnerable to various natural disasters such as typhoons, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions due to its geographic location along the "Pacific Ring of Fire" and the typhoon belt. Also, climate change causes deforestation and human activities like burning plastics and not throw in the right trashcan. When typhoons come, will be affected because the garbage is the one that clogs the drains. Poverty and inadequate urban planning further contribute to the country's vulnerability.

In response to these challenges, the Philippines government has a numerous program like PAGASA, CBDRRM, DSWD, POLICE, BFP, etc..... This organization is very important for our country because our country is prone to calamities also Region I the most dangerous region in our country. Also, this organization will serve the community. Safety in our community. They give us warning systems. Local communities are often the first responders when disaster strikes, making preparedness and knowledge because the residents of the local community have a lot of experience and strategy. We improve our knowledge and use our experience. Community-based disaster risk reduction programs should expand knowledge focusing on educating residents about calamities.

Several challenges in our country limited resources and budget. An off-cited issue in the Philippines' disaster management is the lack of capacities, lack of members, and lack of programs. The government will not provide for all citizens because our country has no big funds and also our country is poor.
